Dr. Philip Pack, DMD
Dr. Pack received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Binghamton University and his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Pack served as a Dental Resident at Bronx Lebanon Hospital before returning to Tufts University for specialty training in Periodontics. After completing his residency, Dr. Pack returned to New York and has maintained a private practice limited to Periodontics and Dental Implant Surgery in Manhattan.
Dr. Pack is passionate about periodontics and teaching young dentists as well as his contemporaries. Dr. Pack has dual appointments at the prestigious New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center:
Assistant Professor of Surgery
Assistant Attending Periodontist
In 2005 and 2017 the dental residents gave Dr. Pack “the Attending of the Year Award”.
In addition to teaching at New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center, Dr. Pack is the leader of a Frank Spear Study Club and is the periodontal consultant for two other Frank Spear Study Clubs in Manhattan. In 2002 Dr. Pack was elected to Active Fellowship in the prestigious New York Academy of Dentistry. Dr. Pack is also a member of the following professional organizations: the American Academy of Periodontology, the Academy of Osseointegration, the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Society and the New York County Dental Society.
Dr. Pack’s private practice is limited to Periodontics, Laser and Implant Surgery. He is particularly interested in implant surgery, esthetic periodontal surgery, laser surgery as well as the treatment and prevention of bone loss due to periodontal disease.
