STAGES OF GUM DISEASE
Many people do not realize that gum disease is a progressive disease and that leaving the early stages untreated means the infection will spread and get worse. The three main stages of gum disease are:
This stage is reversible and the most noticeable signs are puffy or swollen gums.
At this stage, the gums are infected and you may notice excessive bleeding, bad breath and tooth pain.
